CASE STUDY
NEPHTHYS
Programme Coordinator
“Starting as an intern and progressing to Programme Coordinator has shown me what I'm capable of. Having autism and dyslexia has also helped me understand that everyone learns and communicates differently, and I can use that to connect with young people.”
HOW SHE JOINED
“I joined Lineage through the Coach Core × GLA programme as a Coach/Sales Intern. I was interested because it gave me the opportunity to gain experience, develop my skills and work directly with young participants and the community.
I have since been promoted to Programme Coordinator. My confidence, skills and responsibilities have grown significantly, and I now have much more involvement in coordinating programmes and supporting the wider team.”
HER ROLE TODAY
“I help coordinate sessions, work with participants and support different Lineage projects and community activities.
I think my work helps them build confidence and feel supported in a positive environment. I'm able to connect particularly well with young people who have additional needs because of my own experiences, which helps me understand and relate to them.”
TRAINING AND WHAT'S NEXT
“Since joining, I've completed different training and received mentoring that has helped me develop my coaching, communication and professional skills.
Working at Lineage has given me the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while using my own experiences to support others. I'd like to continue developing, gain more qualifications, take on more responsibility and keep creating positive opportunities for the next generation.”
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
“Thanks to the Coach Core × GLA programme, we were lucky enough to hire Neph, who exceeded every expectation and contributed significantly to the company's development.
We want to develop Lineage into an organisation that is not just working for young people, but also run by them.
From now on, part of Neph's responsibilities will be identifying young talent to join Lineage as employees and volunteers.”

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT HER SESSIONS
“I liked the way she taught it, and I liked that she took the time to help me with the things I was struggling with. She explained everything really well.”
“I enjoy boxing and I feel comfortable with both of the coaches, and I feel this session is very useful and builds confidence for people.”
“The coach today has done an amazing job, the kids were really engaged. There were also some new participants who really enjoyed the session.”
